About the Project

Italmondo, a 70-year-old logistics and transport leader, needed a modern digital presence to reflect their industry expertise. As a frontend developer, my challenge was to build a high-fidelity React.js corporate website to visually showcase their transport services. The project was built using React.js + TypeScript. A key technical decision was to manage all content and translations directly within the frontend codebase using react-i18next, while consuming a .NET API developed by the backend team for forms and file handling. • Content Architecture - Structured extensive static text and translations for Road, Sea, and Air services entirely within JSON files • Interactive UI - Used Slick Slider for visual service browsing and history timelines • .NET API Integration - Implemented React Hook Form to handle contact inquiries and CV uploads, connecting to provided .NET REST API endpoints • Multi-Language Management - Leveraged react-i18next as the primary data source for all website copy across multiple European languages • Responsive Design - Focused on precise SCSS implementation across desktop and mobile The result is a fast, maintainable corporate website that serves as a digital brochure for their global logistics network.
