About the Project
The objective was to build a multi-faceted digital health hub that serves two distinct audiences: patients seeking reliable disease management advice and healthcare professionals requiring secure access. The challenge was to architect a frontend that separates these user journeys while maintaining a unified, authoritative brand identity. The platform is built on a Laravel backend with a focus on creating the HTML5, SCSS, and JavaScript frontend templates. Key technical decisions included designing a clean separation for the Login/Authentication interface, using a color-coded SCSS Categorical Design System to distinguish therapeutic areas, and implementing an Accessibility-First UI with WCAG 2.1 compliant text-scaling and high-contrast typography. My role focused on the Frontend Implementation & UX Integration: • Educational Portal UI: Implemented responsive grid layouts for disease awareness campaigns and 'Living with...' sections, ensuring readability. • Authentication UI: Designed and built the secure Login interface, implementing client-side validation to ensure a smooth entry point for the professional portal. • Navigation Architecture: Optimized the mobile navigation to handle deep content structures, ensuring easy access to widely categorized disease management guides. The result is a public health resource serving thousands of patients, achieving WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance.
